They sure were. Except for the protest songs of the early ‘70s, it was all downhill. And I wasn’t a protester, I just liked the music.

Overall, it was my least favorite era. There was some good hard rock and metal - Zepplin, Black Sabbath, Queen, and the like - but there was a lot of boring music too.

One good thing about disco was it birthed punk rock and new wave. LOL
