Then there are the frozen mammoths found in Siberia with flowers in their mouths and stomachs. One minute you’re grazing on tasty flowers and the next you are flash frozen.

That happens when you graze next to the face of the glacier. It's shielded from the bitter north wind, there's plenty of water to grow things, sunlight reflected from the glacier face encourages plant growth. It's a perfect micro-climate.

Until a slab of ice a half mile wide and a couple hundred feet tall cleaves off and and mashes you into the near frozen ground, breaks your back* before you can swallow that mouthful of marigolds and rapidly freezes your remains...

* Note that the frozen mammoth with the flowers in its mouth was described as being in perfect condition, except for a broken back, a frequently glossed over detail.
