Loma Prieta? I was 100 miles away in Davis and we still felt it. The shaking wasn’t that strong all the way out in Davis, but it was strong enough and the duration was incredible. Never experienced one like that before.
Oh, I forgot to mention... Yes, being that close to the epicenter of a seven would’ve gotten my attention for sure. Especially if I was in a building that might come down around my ears. Don’t like to be in buildings during strong quakes!

Quite an experience.
There were a couple big earthquakes in Ridgemont CA around the fourth of July.
I’m about 100 miles away and felt both.
