Lots of these idiots are billionaires they will not spend one dime to buy some of the "old growth" to save the trees.
But they will spend millions to destroy farmers livelihood to stop them from cutting them.

I wouldn’t put up a memorial plaque or carry on like those people, but old growth trees are beautiful and I can understand the sense of loss. I don’t think you have to be an unhinged moonbat or a tree-hugger to appreciate natural beauty.
