God! If only! I realize it’s a strategic piece of real estate, but the natives there are mainly a burden to Denmark, which is why they want to offload it. Denmark has said they are not interested in selling.
The island is rich in natural resources; oil, rare earth metals, glacial ice and geothermal energy.
