Why would a “hard border” with Ireland be necessary?

Humm. Let’s see. American agricultural products are blocked from their Chinese markets. Presumably, they will rot. Hey, why not send them to the UK? Also, what medicines can not be bought from the US?

I can pretty much guarantee that Trump won’t let Boris suffer.

The assumption is that trade with EU will end

That assumption is fallacious

Pure propaganda and a last desperate attempt to thwart the will of the people.

If that concern is real, well, Boris should ask Trump for a good trade deal then should Britain require assistance I’m sure we could arrange a repeat of the massive sea shipments and air cargo that we used the last time we were required to keep Britain alive.

BS scare story by the one-world era. Britain survived unrestricted submarine warfare and the Blitz, it will survive not being dictated to by Brussels. Anyone believing otherwise is a moron.

Britain might be better served if the top 3 levels of high-ranking civil servants from Permanent Secretary on down were given the sack.

Britain will face shortages of fuel, food and medicine if it leaves the European Union without a transition deal, jamming ports and requiring a hard border in Ireland, official government documents leaked to the Sunday Times show.

And the sky is falling!

The scare mongering over Brexit continues. Because, if and when Britain actually leaves, and nothing bad happens, and it won’t; it will cause other countries in the EU to ask, “Why, exactly, are we in the union? So Brussels and the Germans can tell us what to do?” Then they’ll leave too and the fever dream of the globalists to control, well, everything will fall to pieces.

I wish to see millions of British boat people arriving on the shores of France, Belgium, Holland Germany, Denmark and Sweden, asking for welfare benefits.

There will be no shortages of anything.

This is pure establishment fear-mongering.

I agree with others....do a fair trade deal with England for anything they need...the only possible exclusion is drugs and sadly few of those are made in the US. Even so I'm guessing pharma could still sell to anyone they wanted to.

Drive a stake through the hearts of the EU pukes.

Just stop with the histrionics. Great Britain needs to regain its national sovereignty and if they have to go through some temporary pain they will. There still must be grannies who can tell their grandchildren about the hardships they endured during WW2.

In London this past week, I overheard a Brit and a German discussing Brexit. The German basically said the Brits were too stupid to know what trade problems would come when voting to leave. I said maybe the Brits want to leave because they don’t want to be ruled by the German/French/Belgium losers. The EU began to come apart when the loser member countries encouraged unbounded immigration from the war scarred areas of the Middle East. Immigrants to GB assimilate nicely, for the most part, and they will not let themselves be overrun.
