Beach houses might be getting bigger and bigger, but I’m sure the virtue signaling liberals who lives there CARE more about the environment than the rest of us. So...it’s all good.
Living on the coast, the newer beach homes are built to survive much stronger storms than a Cat 5. Look at what survived on Mexico Beach, a modern home built on piers. What was destroyed? Ground level homes that couldn’t survive the storm surge.
