Denmark has lots of problems - High taxes, high muzzie infiltration, high feminization, high PC, high alcoholism, high suicide rate, high bestiality. Theyre the happiest country? ROTFLMAO!
They might just like the deal Get money, lose a useless burden, get protection.
Strategic resources and location, the decision will not be made in Greenland but in Denmark and the US. Alaska was lampooned too. Buy it.
Not very nice Greenland. In fact it’s RACIST.
Usually the first thing someone says when they want a deal.
“It’s not for sale.”
Make them an offer they can’t refuse.
Greenland really isn’t on the market?
Crap! I spent the better part of the day making big plans...
I hope he buys it and relocates the UN there.
Big Joe: What kind of deal?
Crapgame: A DEAL, deal! Maybe the guys a Republican. Business is business, right?
Not if you didn’t make it a state. Give it some sort of status where no one there is allowed to vote in fed elections. If the 56,000 “greenlanders” don’t like it...kick therm out.
They are valuable for their rare earth minerals, a key component to manufacturing energy dense capacitors and batteries.
They’re also important because they are literally one of the only developed sources of rare earth minerals outside of China and not held by a Chinese corporation.
He’s asking to buy the island as an opening position before meeting with their government next week ... including trade discussions.
What do you suppose each ones share of that would be?
Uncle Sam might start looking pretty good when you're looking at that bill.
It’s enough room for a new HGTV show: VERY Tiny Homes.
LOL, my State of Mind, apparently. No matter how many we have, Greenland would be a terrific addition.
It would make more sense for Greenland to become part of Canada, the Nunavut territory is quite similar in socio-economic terms as well as having the same climate.
If you’re looking for new places to buy, I’m guessing Alberta might be interested, especially if Justin Trudeau stays in office after the October elections up here.
GDP of Greenland is $2.7B.
SOP for corporate purchases is about 10x of revenue.
I can see 100x of GDP being a fair price for a province purchase.
$270B for Greenland is manageable, being merely 6.75% of current annual federal spending.
That’s 80% of Denmark’s GDP, as pure profit - vs far less than Greenland tax revenues over the next century.
Just rough numbers. Shows it’s entirely doable.
For the right price, everything is.
The population is about 56,000 there from a report I read yesterday.
What if the U. S. offered every citizen over the age of 18, $1.0 million dollars? (I took a wild guess, and figure the populace of that age or older would be about 75% of the populace.
The cost of that would be $42 billion.
There would be more to it than that, but if we could wrap up the whole thing for $200 billion or less, it would probably be a very good deal.
I have no idea what the total cost would be, but these are some ballpark figures to jump off from.
Current citizens would keep all their current holdings. The only thing that would change would be the nation they would be citizens of, and in this case dual citizenship could probably be arranged.
So! Negotiations have commenced!
It would be nice to have a place to store all of our newly arrived, fleebag “refugees” in cold storage until they can go back to their own counties once they are fixed by “white supremacists”.
Fun Fact: Parts of central Greenland are nearly 1000 feet below sea level, due to the weight of the incredible ice sheet that sits atop it.
