A federal judge on Thursday ordered Georgia to stop using its outdated voting machines after this year and to be ready with hand-marked paper ballots if its new system isnt in place for the presidential primaries.
US District Judge Amy Totenbergs 153-page ruling Thursday is not a complete victory for either side.
A federal lawsuit filed by election integrity advocates and individual Georgia voters argues that the paperless touchscreen voting machines Georgia has used since 2002 are unsecure, vulnerable to hacking and cant be audited. They have been seeking statewide use of hand-marked paper ballots.
A law passed this year provided specifications for a new system. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger certified a new system last week and said new machines will be in place for the states presidential primary election on March 24.

They have been seeking statewide use of hand-marked paper ballots. Oh yeah, this method has never been hacked! /sarc
Not to say that there is any 100% secure system that is equally easy to tabulate when the voters exceed the capacity to meet in a single hall.

Um ... the state just certified an entirely new type this past week.
The state is already getting rid of the old machines.
The remaining problem in GA is absentee vote magic.

Georgia ordered to scrap old voting machines after 2019They can't be hacked or manipulated.

I actually take that back.

Everything was fine until the Federal government used the 2000 Bush/Gore election as an excuse to switch to insecure and easy to cheat voting systems. They did this while claiming they wre making things better. It was all just a scam to make cheating a lot easier.

US District Judge Amy Totenbergs 153-page ruling Thursday is not a complete victory for either side. How about a victory for voters and securing the integrity of our voting system?

When I watched “The Battle Of Athens”, I never forgot it. It’s what happens after ballots are cast that is the issue.

Starting in 2021 the new Soros made machines will have a hammer and sickle on both sides of the ballot available. More efficient.

Why go with new machines? Just implement the paper ballot alternative across the state and be done with it.
Canada or England can supply consultants to help with the collection and tabulation processes...in case we in the USA have forgotten how it’s done.

Election integrity should be EASY...
A few, but not all, things that need to be done:
- Condense voting into a single weekend-ish. Polls are open 24/7 Thurs morning at 0600 until Sat night at 2200. That gives everyone almost three full days to vote, weekdays and weekend, morning, day, and night. No excuse to not have time.
- Indelible purple ink. Everyone dips a finger/hand in it when you get your ballot. People with a purple ink hand can't vote. (Already did!)
- Obviously, IDs are required. If a mostly ghetto place like India can do it, we certainly can!
- Early voting is ONLY for military personnel and federal civilians who are assigned overseas. Ballots are to be sent to these people NLT one month prior to voting weekend. (Arriving to them at that time, not being sent!)
- Every single ballot has a unique number for you to memorize. Every ballot is available online (www.vote.gov, easy!) so you can check to see how your vote was counted in the official tally. Only you know your number, so there's no outing of such info. This prevents mis-tabulations, votes being forgotten in a trunk of a car, etc etc. A high enough percentage of the populace will check, so faking any of this will be very difficult.
- All voter rolls are fully dropped after each Pres election. You have to re-register, so this helps remove dead people and people who moved to a new voting district.
- All States are required to share voter info. This allows for people with vacation homes or other properties to vote in local elections affecting them, but limits them to only residence for federal stuff.
- And, of course, voting weekend is moved to the weekend after tax day. No-brainer.

I forgot to add, the fake ballots in a trunk being added to the total, will be almost entirely wiped out by forcing people to re-register every four years. There won't be that many un-voted ballots to where there's space to add many votes. Obviously the total can't go above the total number of eligible voters.
So you can add to this, that each precinct needs to report, within 30min of polls closing, the total number of votes from that precinct. They can have a bit more time to get the actual votes in, but a number total needs to be rather quickly reported.

The new machine in Georgia generates a paper ballot which can be reviewed before hitting submit on the screen. The paper ballot is then retained in case of a recount.
