Why haven’t people been appointed to fill all available seats? According to US Courts, there are now 3 Court of Appeals vacancies without nominees, 63 District Court vacancies without nominees, 2 Court of International Trade vacancies with nominees, 5 Court of Federal Claims vacancies without nominees. Surely the administration, with the help of any number of groups, such as the Federalist Society, could come up with 72 extremely well-qualified nominees.
The GOP confirmed judges will be the majority when the 2nd judge is confirmed. The previous GOP’ers may be more like Hall Ozerden tho, or worse. After all, it is NY.
Trump and turtle need to prioritize ckt judges with our 53-47 Senate. Appeals judge nominations with new rule ignores the blue slip tradition.
Blue slips still rules with district judges and explains little to none nominations in CA and NJ. NY was also basically zeroed out until some deal made in Feb/March timeframe and a bunch nominated then.

While the Dems dance in the midst of the burning cities they set ablaze, ignorant of the results of what they do....
Trump continues to do the business of the country, giving the dems enough to bark and yell about, but keep occupied, while he continues to put quality judges in place, continue building the wall, and deal with National Crises one after another, all while visiting state after state, every week, without seeming end.
Never in my lifetime, have I seen a more active, engaged, informed, and positive President in office. He will go toe to toe with his detractors, and rarely is he found wrong on major issues.
I see an overwhelming re-election in 2020, and with all the Democrat hopefuls in the news, I see little substance, and nobody wants to put up a serious challenge to Trump on the Republican side, because he is doing an amazing job.
