Steve, if the New York Times misquoted your mangled "white supremacist" comments last January, you should have said so LOUDLY at the time. Why didn't you? While I doubt you were misquoted, you certainly should have recorded the NYT interview to protect yourself. You did not. What can one say about a conservative who trusts in the fairnesss and honesty of the New York Times? Your failure to record the interview was political malpractice.
You complained that your words were taken out of context, but that was not an adequate response. You never explained why you used those specific miserable words.
You might have recovered some of your reputation had you forcefully retracted your reported interview comments and released a correction. That did not happen.
And to think that there was a time when I wanted for you to run for president!

It's a weird question, but NOT offensive at all really. Hundreds of millions of women were raped by conquering armies throughout history.
The key point is: if a woman is raped, does the CHILD deserve the death penalty?
Liberals don't want to debate the RIGHT TO LIFE inherent in all people...so they pretend "King defends rape!!!"
He is somewhat right in the sense that many of our ancestors did disturbing things which led to us, but what kind if an idiotic politician would discuss this?

Maybe so. And I don’t really know why anyone would say this, but, whether we like it or not, we all have rapists in our family tree. Mathematics and all. Doesn’t justify, excuse or exonerate the act in ANY way.
