Several high-profile Senate Democrats warned the Supreme Court in pointed terms this week that it could face a fundamental restructuring if justices do not take steps to "heal" the court in the near future.

Trump should talk about court packing by himself
First, the cork suckers have to win elections. If that were likely they wouldn’t be grandstanding.
Allow Trump to pack the court next week. Add about 9 more justices, and make then all strict Originalists who are under 40.

I know the answer. Because we don’t want to set a new precedent, pack the court, then lose power, and have the dems use the precedent to alter the courts even more.
But lo, they have threatened to break the precedent themselves.

I would like to know how many 5-4 decisions in their favor over the past 70 years the Democrats have described as “narrow”, “partisan”, or “controversial”.

Trump IS healing the Supreme Court as fast a he can. As soon as he replaces the RBG blow-up doll, it should be fixed for some time to come.
The RATS just don’t play well with others.
Trump can’t do it, as the House is controlled by the Democrats. (Remember, to pack the Supreme Court Congress must first pass a bill increasing the number of Justices.)
It is interesting to note that Obama could have packed the Court. For a time the House, the Senate, and the Presidency were all in Democrat hands. But there was no need to take that action. After all, Hillary was sure to win in 2016.
Senate and House need to approve.

I have no doubt that the Democrats will break that precedent the first chance they get. Today’s Democrats are not JFK Democrats. They are much more to the left, and much more ruthless.
They seem to forget that the Republicans can do it as well.
They can also SHRINK the court to 7 or 5 or 3 if they wished, which would effectively produce the same effect.............
So Republicans could have done the same thing when they were legislating from the bench.
