I don’t understand the mechanics of it, but messing around with Satan or the occult or witchcraft, can open up a real dark place is some people.
I had the misfortune to cross paths with a serial killer (Wayne Nance) and he was into witchcraft.
When a person fools around with the occult, he opens himself to demonic forces; it is not for nothing that the Word of God expressly forbids such.
Any priest or pastor who has dealt with the demonic will tell you such.
