You are right about Hansen, but it was the FBI’s fault. He never submitted a financial disclosure form or polygraph. His personality did not fit. He was discovered hacking, but never suffered any consequences. He was unsupervised and submitted little work product.
Thank you for the additional information. I did not know that. I was going from memory. Also the Agent that murdered his informant girlfriend. He was assigned to work with her. Later they became romantically involved. She might have gotten pregnant, I am not sure about that, so I can’t say for sure but the end result was that she was either going to tell about their affair or he thought she was going to tell. He murdered her. It happened, i think, in the Kentucky, West Virginia area. There was a book about it, I read the book.
