I have a feeling the “Deplorables” win at the end of the film, even lefties make progressives the villan on occasion just to make a plot less formulaic (for Hollywood).
They have a superheroine save the day at the end. The males are all worthless and incompetent.

After watching him say it in his own words - and seeing his eyes - I believe that this movie serves one purpose.
Though what I have seen is that they cancelled it, I believe that they will release it later after the heat is off from the shootings by the 2 leftist terrorists in El Paso & Dayton.
They will not be the last shootings which destroy their narrative.
Sort of. From what I understand it's complicated.
It's not that the movie is saying "Go liberals. Deplorables are not human. Hunt and kill them." There was more complexity than that.
The liberal hunters are the villains. What they're doing is shown to be evil and you root for the heroine.
But the heroine isn't a typical deplorable either, so in theory viewers might identify with her and root for her, but still think hating and killing Trump supporters is a good thing.
So it's complicated. The original outraged response to the film wasn't entirely wrong -- or entirely right.
But like I said, I'm getting this all second-, third- or fourth-hand, so I could be wrong.
