You’re right. Nevertheless, he was very involved in the hiring of illegals. And it absolutely sends the wrong message.

Bottom line: This commutation stinks, it stinks to high heaven. This is not some guy who accidentally ran afoul of some obscure federal law. Rubashkin cheated banks out of millions. He should be in prison for decades.

This type of political commutation is something Bill Clinton would have done.

Of course. The same will play out with the Epstein suicide. The higher ups will get their hands spanked but some low level guard will get the book thrown at them
