L/E needs to dig deeper---to determine the source of his money and the circuitous route it took, then landed back into his personal coffers. Could have happened like this:

Many stories have referred to Maxwell as Epstein’s “ex-girlfriend,” but otherwise she seems to’ve besported herself only with Epstein’s teen Lolitas. If she’s not quietly cooperating with the Epstein investigation, then she’s long gone and under the protection of the sayanim. She could be just about anywhere in the world.
