The history of unregulated and secret CIA/FBI meddling, from presidential elections to terrorism and overseas wars, and secret operations, however, is staggering. Many significant and horrible events are the direct result of their actions, not to mention the total control of the American "news media".
The FBI could be shut down and the same with the CIA.
There would still be a plethora of federal "intelligence" and enforcement entities.

Now for the Meat. The Fed. G'ment as well as most State G'ments are WAY too large with WAY too many uncountable departments.
A good place to start is by eliminating the 17th and 18th Amendments. Also, Women should not be allowed to Vote, just look at the crazies in Pink Hats, as well as anyone who does not own property.
Next eliminate SS, the Detps. of Edication, all of the NTSB, as well as the majority of all Federal Departments of XYZ.
And lastly, TORT laws should be the ONLY laws allowed in any Courtroom
