These things are fun as all heck but at high speeds as dangerous as any vehicle. The problem is the temptation to treat it like a toy, what could go wrong? We used to build these out of wood when we were kids and drive them on back roads. They were “wicked cool”...
Had many wooden go-carts when i was young and big steep hilly side streets to injure ourselves driving down.

There are inexpensive LCD lights that would have provided some decent illumination.
