MLS teams navigate new ‘no political display’ policy

Major League Soccer’s new policy that bans political displays at matches is stirring controversy in the Pacific Northwest, where supporters’ culture is often intertwined with politics and social issues.

The Seattle Sounders and the Portland Timbers have banned signs and flags with the "Iron Front" symbol, which they say has become appropriated by some in the loosely structured antifa movement, at times in the context of violence.

The fake news keeps puking up this fake meme. There's nothing "loosely structured" about the maggots in black. Somebody is paying to load them all on chartered buses and drive them to places to riot.

Maybe someone else has better info but a quick search shows public financing involved in the Seattle stadium while the Portland facility is owned by the city.
