Yes, the idiots are on two fronts. The voter turnout was so dismal, that only 8.5% of eligible voters re-elected him. Those are definitely in the idiot category. Then there are those who couldn’t be bothered to vote in the first place (nearly 80% of eligible voters.) Idiots too. I know that NYC municipal politicians are a nausea-inducing lot, but c’mon — there wasn’t anyone running who was even marginally not as bad as this guy, and wasn’t that enough of an incentive to cast a vote and try to turn him out?

I have to come to the sad conclusion that most NYC voters are alright with him, and that’s none of my business until their poor choices get inflicted on the rest of the country.

(And I know that my screen name should keep my from criticizing another city, but I haven’t lived in the city of Chicago for six years.)
