What, in your opinion, would “switched him out” mean?
“What ... would ‘switched him out’ mean?”
I’m thinking they took a recently departed John Doe from a morgue drawer, shoved him in a van, took him to the prison, and planted him in JE’s cell. JE gets in the van and is on his way to a safe place as he continues to give names, dates, places, videos, etc.
