There are basically two different types of rats here. Norway Rats are slightly bigger than Roof Rats. Norway Rats like to burrow. I have seen them burrow through asphalt in downtown LA. They seem to be found mostly in urban areas. They like trash. They are more likely to carry fleas that spread Typhus and Plague. The Roof Rats like ivy and other heavy vegetation that is common in suburban areas. They are climbers and get into attics easily through openings in roof eaves (they can fit through 1/2 inch holes). Both have front teeth that keep growing. This causes them to constantly gnaw to keep them cut down. Unfortunately, that means the Roof Rats will gnaw through electrical wires potentially causing house fires. The rat poison has been around for many years and mountain lions have not gone extinct. Maybe they should force the homeless to clean up their crap. They could also pay them to pick up the dead rats so coyotes and mountain lions don’t eat the poisoned rats. Problem solved.

Liberals don’t care about rotted food or human waste destroying the environment. They only worry about corporations and other capitalistic ventures endangering the lives of little creatures.

A lot of people have been talking about just using lead. That’s one of the reasons the left is so interested in banning guns. I personally am past the stage of violence. I have had my share and am not going to raise anything to anybody again except for the protection of me and mine.

But it takes past my remaining years for the socialists to implode as since it is a slow process to bring down the most powerful country in history, I won’t have enough time to laugh at them when they look at each other and wonder why it fell apart. And they “splurt” out stupidity and wonder why people with enough electricity between their ears keeping their arms and legs moving think they are idiots. They just don’t understand that there is an impossible result to everything they are saying.

Disneyland used to feed dozens of neutered cats who lived there and kept the mouse population in check. We used to go to their secret lair and say hi to the cats. I don’t have season passes any more so I have no idea if they still have the cats.

The rodent rats need to be exterminated, and the political Rats need to be expunged.

Like Tom Lehrer once said - we’d rather kill them off by peaceful means.

Yeah, unfortunately the truth is they have more respect for the lives of rats than they do of humans. Do you need more evidence?

Sorry you got to old the defend the country. Hope it works out for you. Serving a writ on a rat is a free man’s responsibility. I’ve heard. A writ wrote for a rat. Served forwith.

Better question - how big a feral kitty population are you willing to put up with in order to try to get rid of the rats?

How many cats and dogs and other animals have been poisoned by those bowls?

Better to shoot the rats and let the other animals live long lives.

Next on the list to ban are meds that stop or cure the bubonic plague.
