Gun sales are surging after the weekend mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, fueled by first-time buyers seeking pistols they can carry with them for protection.
The latest jump validated a big increase in purchases and background checks recorded by the FBI that show the four most recent months higher than the same months in 2018.
What’s more, the trend in the “National Instant Criminal Background Check System,” or NICS, is on a path to make 2018 the second biggest year since 2016, when gun owners and prospective gun owners filled stores before the presidential election that was expected to elect gun control advocate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

We have been very busy this week.

Well, some might be repeat customers, but how is that different from dead Dems voting (multiple times)?

Punching holes in paper a couple times a year is a poor substitute for knowing how to handle, carry, and deploy under stress.
I'm all in favor of gun control for Progressives, Islamonazis, Statists, Commies & other DemoKKKrats who commit about 98% of violent gun crimes, IMHO. The other 2% of violent gun crimes are by the criminally insane. (But is there really any difference between the two groups?)
Responsible, loyal Americans should be able to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights with as little government interference as possible.
Everytime the dems talk about taking away our guns, we go out and buy more.

Whenever I can free myself, when I change my license that’s probably the first thing I’ll do. Walk into a gun shop and purchase one.
In Virginia a new license must be 30 days old before it can be used to purchase a firearm.
This is the solution. If everybody (100 million) of the concealed carry folks carried every day, everywhere ... there would be a lot less of these shooting. Instant confrontation.

I don’t think people are buying because for protection because of the shootings.
I think they are buying because of the threat of the gun control measures the government is unconstitionally trying to enact.
I know that have me motivated to do so.
Why wait? So you can have an invasive background check done?
