Americans have been doing that very job in my home town since about 1958. 500 or more employees, white and black, the past decade or so. There were no Hispanics in the area until around 1980. Still only a fairly small number.

In 2006, a similar raid happened at the local meat processing plant. Big hue and cry about parents being separated from their kids, the local Catholic church got involved, blah blah.

Result: The plant now employs Somalis.
