EL PASO, Texas (AP) — In stories Aug. 3-5 about the deadly shootings at an El Paso Walmart, The Associated Press reported erroneously on the number of mass killings so far in 2019. There have been 23 mass killings so far in 2019, leaving 131 people dead.

The fact that they have to correct the story tells me they’re fake news. And when you do a search for 250 mass murders, fake headlines are still coming up.
Now I could believe there were 250 mass shootings just in Chicago this year.
True. They are already pumping the numbers by making mass shootings more than one person shot, and thus getting all these gang killings. But they portray them all as lone wold right wing nuts out to kill brown people. They (the press AND the democrats) are absolutely the enemies of the people in a republic that relies on the truth being told in order to function as intended.

1. The MSM ran a bunch of stories about 250+ mass shootings this year, based on some definition of "mass shootings" such as "any shooting with 4 or more victims."
2. The MSM and various propagandists took to the airwaves and parroted the tired old accusation that "mass shootings are a phenomenon where the perpetrators are almost always white males."
3. Someone sat down and did the research on both of these items. It turns out that Item #2 is factually incorrect, based on the 250+ mass shootings documented in Item #1. In fact, black males are the most common culprit in these 250+ mass shootings.
4. In order to perpetuate the talking point that mass shootings are a "white male problem," the MSM/propaganda @ssholes retracted Item #1 and came up with a different standard for defining "mass shootings" in order to fit the narrative that most of the perps are white males.
So ... Statistically, the way to make any crime problem diminish significantly is to simply DEFINE THE CRIMES SO THAT THE ONES WITH WHITE PERPETRATORS ARE THE ONLY ONES REPORTED.

Oh, for sure they’ll bury the correction. I never saw the 250 number on TV because I don’t watch any TV news programs. I didn’t actually know about the initial count until I read this thread. And when I searched the AP article for 250, it wasn’t there. They never even included the original wrong count. Obviously, they can’t even admit how far off they were.
