Gov. Cuomo said the panic that erupted in Times Square after a backfiring motorcycle mistaken for gunshots sent people fleeing from the area shows just how “terrified” the nation is in the wake of the mass shootings over the weekend.

The governor also railed about the “impotence of government” for its failure to respond with any substantial gun control legislation, as well as the Democratic presidential candidates, who he was are “all over the lot.”
In an interview on CNN, Cuomo urged the 2020 hopefuls to “make it a simple clear choice for the American people” and sign on to a “Make America Safer Pledge.”

Apparently NY’s draconian gun control laws has failed to comfort the populace. Not to mention, anyone who has spent time at a range could tell the difference between a gun shot and a motorcycle back fire.

The “impotence of government” has passed all manner of gun control legislation, yet fails to enforce it.
The student who shot up a school down in Florida was reported to various state, local, and federal authorities forty seven (47) times, that we know about, with ever increasing urgency and alarm, including specific statements claiming along the lines of he will “be your next school shooter”.
There are serious problems in America. A lack of legislation is not one of them.
You mean the shootings in the hood every weekend didn’t do it for them?
