Florida lawmaker wants to stop men from voting on measures to protect unborn babies from abortion.
Lauren Book, a pro-abortion Democrat and state senator, recently introduced a state constitutional amendment that would ban Florida lawmakers from restricting abortion unless at least half of the legislators are women, according to the New York Daily News.
Because Book’s bill, state Senate Bill 60, is a constitutional amendment, it would have to be approved by state voters as well as the legislature.
“No vote about us without us,” Book told the Tallahassee Democrat. “Seeing what state legislatures across the country have done, I believe it is time to stand up and fight to ensure women have access to comprehensive health care and family planning.”
But abortion is not health care or family planning. It is the destruction of a living, unique human being. Florida lawmakers have considered several pro-life measures this year, including a bill to ban abortions after an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable and another requiring parental consent for minors before an abortion.

I like this line of thinking. This could be a fun principle.
We can limit representatives voting taxes on businesses to only those that own and operate businesses.
We can limit votes on private health insurance to representatives that only have private health insurance.
We could limit votes on border protection to only those who have had a family member injured or killed by an illegal immigrant.

All of the male legislators should come together as one and tell these idiots: no female can vote on issues of national security, national defense, or the military since those are issues that directly affect men.

Article IV of the US Constitution guarantees each state a republican form of government.
Such a law would deny the people of each district with a male representative in the state legislature representation in voting on that law. Both men and women would be denied their rights to republican government.
Wouldn’t that be taxation without representation?
