When you owe the bank $100,000, the bank owns you.
When you owe the bank $10,000,000, you own the bank.

I suppose we could declare the debt void and see what they try to do about it. The rest of the world needs the US far more than they need China.

Simply raise tariffs by a commensurate amount?
Bingo.

So I’ll leave the solution to the experts and pray that God will give them the wisdom they need to keep the country save - and solvent.

I think the Chinese have abandoned the Western style of diplomacy and re-adopted their traditional strategy of narrowing their eyes and becoming inscrutable.

In regards to #4.. Are you sure? Their sheer numbers combined with technological and nuclear capabilities make for a pretty even fight.

Good! It also needs to be removed from the WTO’s “developing nation” status. Kick ‘em in the nuts while they’re down.

Raise tariffs and the Chinese will keep devaluing their currency. It will get to a point where they can no longer afford a military. That should scare the piss out of sum dum Kim.

Odd ting about this:
China has lately been manipulating to keep it’s currency UP! Has a peak amount of USD debts due through next year.
It’s not about trade, it’s about making it harder, and more expensive, for China to pay those debts.

so whats that mean?
First thing, I think it means another hundred million dollar contract with a Biden kid and many very large checks to the Democrat campaign committees and PACs.
