Why hasnt P&G fired this idiot?
Thats the REAL PROBLEM. The board is scared to death to be seen as politically incorrect, lest they get called out for it, and careers ruined.
In the near future, the surviving non liberal Business Schools will document how many CEOs including the owners of the NFL/49ers/Apple/Dick’s,Gillette~P&G/&_?????___ have destroyed or seriously harmed their companies by going to weaponized political warfare, SJW, instead of tending to business.
Or how, they came close to destroying their companies with their liberal attacks against America and those who love America, their former customers.
Many CEOs have started the destruction of their businesses with their vile public attacks on their American former customers.
Often, their former customers, who live a positive conservative lifestyle instead of self destructive liberal lifestyle, are portrayed as evil, racist and dumb.
This is known as weaponized Social Justice Warfare, SJW, where all conservative/customers are driven away or converted to liberals as the end goal!
SJW Politics in business at its very core embodies this selective reality.
Once a political position is stated. You have to realize that you are now on the opposite side of 50% of all current, as well as potential customers. Sometimes the numbers/% can be higher.
Thats the rule-of-thumb. Which is why it used to be the absolute last thing any CEO worth-their-salt would argue publicly. Let alone place its business and customers directly into any political fray.
It seems that many of these CEOs like those in charge of NFL/Apple/49ers/Gillette~P&G and ? forgot they were in the business of business not the business of abetting destructive liberal politics/lifestyles via SJW on their customers.
To make manners worse, many of these corporate SJW’s go on tv and in the print media to brag about their liberal SJW stands.
The ultimate prices they are going to pay in loss of sales, reputation, as well as share holder condemnation and law suits will be legendary.
That’s what any company wants - a CEO that loses $8b.
Not saying that the guy is gay, but I know someone who looks like that and is NOT gay.
The stockholders should fire his ass.
As I posted on a Facebook thread on this huge write-down, someday this will be a required case study in every MBA program on the exact wrong way to handle marketing as the dominant player.
What? Did JC Penney buy Gillette?
What a moron ... and an @sshole to boot. If the people who objected to that bizarre ad campaign was a small minority as he claims, the company wouldnt have written Gillettes value down by $8 BILLION.
[[But I am absolutely of the view now that for the majority of people to fall more deeply in love with todays brands have to risk upsetting a small minority and thats what weve done. ]]
This is EXACTLY WHY we NEED an organized Tea Party that can organize peopel all across the states- all across the world really- to show them just how much of a MAJORITY we really are through an organized boycott of their product!
Back i the day- enough people were moral enough that when a company like J.C Penny and Ford tried to court the gay crowds- people protested and boycotted their companies, that they nearly went bankrupt- J.C Penney never really recovered- Ford was hurt for a long time-
But today- people aren’t morally outraged in large enough numbers anymore to have an impact- and individual boycotts aren’t very effective- This is why we need the Tea Party- lead by an outstanding celebrity figure, who people will enthusiastically follow- to organize against social justice idiots like this Gillette CEO-
“FR has class....that is LOW Class.”
We’ll survive it, Ann. Last week, or so, I had said something very similar...but that was in response to guy here who was simply being an a-hole. But yea, it eventually got pulled.
This asshole has made a most unfortunate career decision. Way way too big, and too much money involved, for him to live it down, maybe ever.
His life needs to start over at the French fry station, where he can start over on the concept of adding value to the organization.
This shows that this is a screwball fanatical religion.
Dude looks like a younger Hispanic version of Ross Perot.
Do the shareholders agree? I don't think so.
Im sure that a good number of employees also disagree.
I disagree. That post would make an epic bumper sticker. LOL.
Why do you want to give Gillette further joy?
I wonder if shareholders agree?
