As I understand it the driver should have had his green card yanked and been deported after the first DUI incident, according to immigration law.
I’m getting extremely sick reading stories where non citizens skate on things that you and I would get jailed for.
Glad you left, but since MA exports its **** outside its state borders, as the Randolph vics and their families can attest, folks in other states are still in harm’s way thanks to MA’s policies.
The perp had arrests in 6 different states.
Most, if not all, of those could have and should have gotten the perp deported.
I read the article. My comment is that I’ve known plenty of residents that MA does indeed go after.
Likely not pols or illegals, however.
Wonder how many lives that has cost.
BTW, I just took a look at the arrest records for one big city in MA, not Boston, for a one week period last month.
What I found really makes me wonder how many arrests, prosecutions, and successful convictions for DWI/DUI are occurring in MA.
Anyone know, can any of Volodymyr Zhukovskyys vics or their estates sue the state of MA for negligence?

that question would require a lawyer - but gross negligence (a/k/a criminal negligence) should make the bad actors PERSONALLY liable.
We shall see, so stay tuned.
MA goes after people who can afford to pay the fines.
