Released FOIA documents into the special counsel team of Robert Mueller revealed the remarkable trail of the 2017 entrapment scheme conducted by prosecutor Andrew Weissmann to target George Papadopoulos.
Before digging into the details it is important to note this is a DOJ/FBI entrapment operation being conducted in 2017 by the special counsel; this is not prior to the 2016 election. The detail surrounds a series of events previously discussed {Go Deep} where George Papadopoulos was approached by a known CIA operative named Charles Tawil.
In 2017 George Papadopoulos and his wife Simona were approached in Greece by a known CIA/FBI operative, Charles Tawil. Mr. Tawil enlisted George as a business consultant, under the auspices of energy development interests, and invited him to Israel.
On June 8th, 2017, in Israel under very suspicious circumstances, where Papadopoulos felt very unnerved, Mr. Tawil hands him $10,000 in cash for future consultancy based on a $10k/month retainer.
On June 9th, 2017, according to his book, Papadopoulos and Tawil fly back to Cyprus.

Mueller got very indignant at the thought of politics in the FBI or DOJ. “I have never asked an agent about their political party” No, they ask, “do you support abortion, or gay marriage?” If you do, you are hired. If by chance you slip through the screening, and they find out you might be against gay marriage or abortion, you are not advanced in rank, or drummed out. This is standard human resource tactics in all of government, from teachers to prosecutors.

Just from the facts that are known, it is clear this operation could only have come from the highest levels of the US Government & Obama administration. It involved an Australian diplomat, British intelligence assets, a “former” British spy, and CIA & FBI players and informants. The sheer number of people involved is proof this wasn’t some rogue effort by Steele to derail Trump.
SOMEONE had to conceive of the operation (likely not Obama or Hillary); someone had to approve it (likely Obama and/or Hillary would at least be informed, if not the approving party); yet another would have had to run the op; and then you have the on-the-ground assets and resources that conducted the op. Just the logistics of working across the UK, Israel, Cyprus, Greece, the USA, and (potentially) Australia means this wasn’t trivial. Think about it - you’d have surveillance, eavesdropping gear, recording gear, NSA/GCH intercepts (phone, email, internet) and more.
So who has all of these international contacts? Who is high-enough up to ensure foreign-government cooperation AND participation?
The “mastermind” can only have been Brennan.

Joe DiGenova has said repeatedly and often for months that John Brennan began the Russia collusion conspiracy theory in order to hurt then candidate Trump and later to overthrow the legitimately elected President Trump. I have no clue how he knows that, but he has been on point about that for months. Later others have also confirmed the Russia collusion trap started with Brennan. There had to be others. It is not like he would wake up alone and put all this into action. He had to have met or directed others at time T=0.
