PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Port Authority says its police officers will not cooperate with ICE officials if immigration raids happen in Pittsburgh.

At a Port Authority board meeting on Friday, CEO Katharine Kelleman said in Spanish that everyone is welcome — “Bienvenidos todos a Port Authority.”

A spokesman for the Port Authority, Adam Brandolph, said Kelleman wanted to let customers know that Port Authority Police don’t work for ICE.

He continued to say that the Port Authority does not want to let its customers live in fear that they’ll be deported just because they’re on a PAT vehicle

so.....bring enough bus fare to keep on riding, and you'll be safe from deportation.

Disturbing trend here from Pittsburgh being controlled by Democrats to Pittsburgh being controlled by the most extremist whacko type of Democrats.

They’ll still manage to lose population somehow. Even illegals hate Pittsburgh and it’s goofy, moron looking mayor :-).

Unfortunately, it’s not just confined to PA. Every major city in the country is doing this to some degree.

These sanctuary leftist “Urban Warriors” need to be cut off at the knees.

If state and/or municipal governments don’t cooperate with ICE, their airports should be closed to international flights.

In effect, the Port Authority CEO and the Port Authority board members have declared that they prefer to give aid and comfort to the enemy.

The Constitution has a word for that.

Hmmm, doesn’t the US Coast Guard have the authority to close ports down for security reasons?

I’ve been away for a while...at least 15 years since I’ve ridden PAT...have the buses and trolleys in Pittsburgh gotten dangerous?

I don’t recall seeing many PAT officers - I didn’t even realize they had their own force.

The Port Authority says its police officers will not cooperate with ICE officials if immigration raids happen in Pittsburgh.

I suppose that might actually mean somthing if the ICE agents need to get to their offices with the detained deportee via the bus lines.

Other than that all I am seeing here is Mrzz. Kelleman getting some virtue signaling going for a fakebook post.

So, it is not OK for businesses to hire illegals, but perfectly fine for a local government to openly not only do the same but also subvert the Us constitution and overthrow local federal authorities?

I cannot believe that people are busier feeling offended by Trump tweets than this stark reality of the nation and themselves being walked all over their faces with taxes

She lives in one of the two or three richest suburbs of Pittsburgh, where the population is 94% white, 0.2% black, 0.8% Latino or Hispanic — it’s good that she made her remarks in Spanish, I guess she was saying “do as I say, not as I do.”

During the Trump roundup this should be done.Check the precinct list of registered voters where these people resided. If they’re on that list, Federal crime, charge them and those that enabled them to vote knowing they were illegals. If ebough noise is made it should discourage illegals still here from voting. Besides determining how they got a drivers license show how much it’s costing taxpayers of that state. Also point out increased premiums on drivers insurance rates. As well as demonstrate how ,local ,state and federal taxes are increased by divertting edicational, medical, food and housing allocations to meet illegal’s needs at citizen expence.
