Camp Ashraf the main base and command headquarters of the Badr Brigades, the largest pro-Iranian militia in Iraq
“... aircraft struck a consignment of ballistic missile launchers transferred a short time ago from Iran to Iraq. as well as the missiles themselves and the living quarters of Guards officers and personnel of the pro-Iranian Iraqi Badr Brigades militia. Some sources reported up to 40 dead in the attack.”
According to Iran, Israel used Mojahedin-e Khalq (Peoples Mojahedin Organization) agents to mark Camp Ashraf targets.
Maryam Rajavi, the Mojahedin (MKO) is the leader of the group.
The Iraqi army has surrounded the camp
Interesting.
I don’t keep up with the happenings in Iraq as much as I do with Syria.
Could Iraq actually be sabataging Iranian forces?
I thought Iraq and Iran were on ‘friendly terms’?
