I’ve heard DiGenova describe Wray as a spineless Swamp Creature.
Wray’s appointment is just another example of Trump being hoodwinked by establishment politicians giving him bad advice.

If Trump could correct that issue he might stand a chance finding honorable people.
FBI director is a Senate confirmed position. The problem with these noms is lies in the Never Trump GOP Senate and not the WH. The GOP Senate hate POTUS every bit as much as the Democrats do and refuse to support him.
There’s no doubt whatsoever who championed Wray: Chris Christie.
Christie also brought other disasters into the Trump Administration that weren’t removed when Christie was fired.

I’m assuming The same would be true at the Bureau!
There are good men still left at the Bureau, but they’re probably stuck in outposts so as to have no actual voices, while working hard behind the scenes, presumably as “punishment” by the current leadership. So yes, I’d force as many of them either into retirement or give them number two or three spots in El Reno, OK or Grand Fork, Nebraska, where they’d actually have to work and live in actual communities of hardworking Americans!

Wray was a terrible pick. A golden opportunity wasted. A deep state Rat of the worst kind. Any pick that gets more than one or two Rat votes to confirm is a bad pick. Wray is exhibit A for that assertion.
