I do not see how the fact you may or may not have "met many more cops" has anything at all to do with the fact that police departments, chiefs, sheriffs, police organizations, etc., etc., nationwide are almost (almost) completely unified in a concerted, focused, public, national stance against expanding concealed carry rights and citizens' gun rights in general.

I knew that was going to be your argument. And it’s incorrect. While police unions and fraternal organizations that have no real power put out press releases calling for gun control, it’s purely political. You only see the press releases that are anti-gun because that particular area is a democrat stronghold. The vast majority of cops on patrol respect the 2nd Amendment and like seeing law-abiding citizens exercise those rights. What we DON’T like are idiotic rallies where dumbasses strap AR-15’s to their backs and stand around with Don’t Tread On Me flags.
