An angry Trans who blames the whole world for his confusion and frustration.
***Unclear, is he jailed right now? What did he do with all that hacked data? Sell it? To whom? Was was the point?

Pretty interesting reading news sources about this guy/gal....left a huge trail behind him online so he wasn’t hard to get evidence on....or find. Apparently smart on computers, as said, but dumb as a heck otherwise.

Other articles say he was trying to park it...appears they caught him before he could sell the data but it’s still being investigated so we’ll see.

Finding the right jail cell/section is going to be a sideshow all by itself at the Freak Circus.

..... More Than 100,000 Social Security Numbers Were Compromised in the Hack.

.....Breach impacted more than 100 million credit card applications in the United States and another 6 million in Canada.

.... approximately 140,000 Social Security numbers were compromised.

.......bank account numbers of about 80,000 customers were also put at risk.

....the “largest category of information accessed was information on consumers and small businesses as of the time they applied for one of our credit card products from 2005 through early 2019. This information included personal information Capital One routinely collects at the time it receives credit card applications, including names, addresses, zip codes/postal codes, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth, and self-reported income.”

My takeaway? I have been repeatedly pleased lately that the FBI is actually catching criminals these days. Far better than during the Obama years.

About the theft... sounds like this idiot worked on Amazon's cloud service (programmer?), which I'm guessing Capitol One is using. Capitol One should sue Amazon.

I do. A professional engineer with insider knowledge of a commercial finance company may know who would be most likely to help someone like him in that situation.
I certainly would not have a quarter of a million dollars, but certain hedge funders could ‘produce’ it in the form of securities without breaking a sweat.
He would most likely play one of his ‘victim cards’ to garner sympathy. It worked for Bradley Manning, at least for a good while.

No doubt another $9/hr Indian H1B or outsourced Indian company from Bangalore who wrote the software. Hence the piss-poor security and crap code. Just like Boeing.
