If you were worried about making the case to the American People, you would be campaigning for 2020 not wasting time on this nonsense... BUT you know, you can’t beat him so you are just going to do this nonsense and pray..

I think that part of this, is to “get even” for the Clinton impeachment.

And part of this in inflating events into high crimes and misdemeanors, such as the Stormy Daniels situation, charges that he violated the emoluments clause, the Twitter statements which outrage liberals, they didn’t like how he fired Jim Comey — take your pick of any outrage.

But as we know , liberal outrage about all of these matters are not high crimes and misdemeanors. In the liberal mind they are but in the real world they are not.

Should the Democrats impeach Pres. Trump on some
false nonsense they've manufactured, then if the
Republicans should be given control of the House in 2020,
I hope the Republicans would have the courage to expel
from the House for conduct unbecoming of a Representative
these people:

Nancy Pelosi
Elijah Cummings
Gerald Nadler
Adam Schiff
Maxine Waters
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Rashida Tlaib
Ayanna Pressley
Ilhan Omar
And that Congressman who looks like a caveman, who's
name escapes me at this time. (Maybe someone here can
help me out with the name.)

In fact they should be expelled just because
they are disruptive to the proper functioning
of the House of Representatives. I fervently hope it's done.

Also, it requires 2/3 or 67 votes to convict. (Bill Clinton was acquitted with 55 Guilty Votes on Perjury and 50/50 Split on obstruction.)

Like Nadler said: “The president surely committed a crime. We just need to keep digging until we find some evidence.”

Is an “impeachment case” a “trial”?

A President or Judge may be impeached in the House of Representatives; that impeachment is then tried in the Senate.

Yeah, the left might (will) lose a trial and that would definitely send the wrong message which is exactly why there will never be a trial even if they could fabricate whatever crime there might have been. So, they’ll continue to gnash their teeth for the next 5 years.

You cannot obstruct justice that did not exist in the first place.

There is then a trial in the Senate.

....if the impeachment vote passes in the house.

“Schiffty has yet to name a crime.”

It could be as simple and innocuous as farting in church, and be legal.

If the House impeaches for any stated reason, they have then defined High Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Let’s not forget that the dims prevented the presentation of all the evidence to the senate.

Thanks Libloather. Either they start impeachment, or they end their careers. Either they don't start impeachment, or they end their careers. Hey, President Trump tried to warn 'em. What maroons.

“I worry equally about the message of taking an impeachment case to trial, losing that case, having the president acquitted, and then having an adjudication that this conduct is not impeachable,” he said.

In other words, in typical Democrat fashion, Schiff would rather have the issue to run on than a resolution to the problem. "He hasn't been impeached - but he should have been!" can work for the next half decade. A failure by Congress to actually do it might shut Democrats out of power for a long time.
