I never buy any of these, “Honey, I forgot the kids” death scenarios. Unless the child is riding in the back of a box truck, how do you leave your child ? I don’t buy it, nope, not for a second.

I suspect a post birth abortion.
Twins. Too much and too expensive to deal with.
Leaves them in a hot, sealed unattended car.
A death sentence for them. A burden lifted for him (or so he believes).
I’m just not buying “I forgot they were back there...”
If “Dad” is subjected to court-ordered random drug-testing for a year and wears an electronic ankle tether for that first 3 or 4 months and comes up clean and cooperative, then maybe he could be released early from an initial 2-year probationary period for gross or criminal negligence. However, he would have to be prosecuted and at least he would have had his day in court, and those two babies deserve to have their day as well.

Susan Smith back in 1994 fussed over her children as well and was seen as a great mother. That is.. until it was shown she wasn’t.

No father would leave twin one year old babies in a car for eight hours unless he was out of his gourd for some reason.

I’m with you - he murdered his kids in a horrible way and needs to suffer just as horribly...we should be allowed to execute the death sentence in a way similar to what the perps did...
What was he doing taking his twins to work for? He’s a social worker. Something is not right by his story.
Or he grabbed his smartphone and immediately became engrossed in it as soon as he parked the car. Didn't focus on anything other than that little screen in his hand.
