I have NEVER seen such an utter and abysmal failure to tarnish, taint or destroy a politician (though Trump really isn’t one, thank God) after SO MUCH time, money and effort had been put into it.

I completely agree. That’s why there’s a push from the Dems and the media (oh yeah, one and the same) to cast Mueller as a doddering old man with dementia. If only he could remember what his investigation turned up! Or how it started!
They will have to push this dementia thing so they don’t have to worry about his lying.
