Its always been my understanding that these types of jobs were for young people entering the work force. Learning how to deal with customers etc. Not employment to feed a family.IMOThat was true until we as a nation decided to flood the USA labor market with low skilled, low IQ "migrants". Now service jobs are a career. So expect the min. wage to go up. It has been stuck at $7.25 for decade.
This is the price we pay for de-industrialization.

My question to those who believe that the minimum wage law is a good idea is, “Why ask for ONLY fifteen dollars?” If I thought it worked I would ask for fifteen HUNDRED an hour!
