This is why you should ALWAYS take your paychecks IMMEDIATELY to the employer's bank and cash it. I remember working for a sales company and they always gave us our paychecks on Friday mornings. Well, one Friday, after getting my commission check, I went to THEIR bank as usual and cashed the check. Then I went to lunch. When I came back to the office, I looked up and saw cops there and watched as they led the boss and a couple of other guys out in handcuffs.

Well, that was the end of that job but not really tragic since I got my last check which was cashed in the nick of time.

Reading the background on this, it looks like management got too hungry to grow and overstretched their cash flow.

Poor accounting leads to miss-calculations.

If the sinks the company the management team should be prosecuted improper accounting.
