If he says his decision had anything to do with not being able to indict a sitting president the DOJ should arrest him for perjury since the told the DOJ in front of witnesses that was not the reason. It would be did you lie then or did you lie now.
MUeller is scewed no matter which way he goes . He must stay close to his original script or be open to perjury. And the IG report is just waiting to debunk that testimony ! A no win situation! Ultimately it's Mueller and the Dems who will win they day. They control the House, and make or break whatever rules required to win at all costs. It doesn't have to be about truth -- only who can shout the longest and loudest, and who has the backing of the media.
Nothing good will come of this.

Says who? Mueller is speaking as an integral part of the DOJ. SC is not a separate department. It is a special appointment that in principle is made to reduce the appearance of conflict of interest.
This reeks of the Comey standard, where his ethical obligations evaporate on his own personal whim.
