Robert Mueller will have a prepared opening statement for his much-anticipated congressional hearing on Wednesday that has not been seen by the Justice Department, according to a spokesman for the former special counsel.
The statement, which will likely not be released until Mueller starts his testimony, did not have to be cleared through the Department of Justice and no officials from the department, including Attorney General William Barr, have seen the document, the spokesman said.
While the spokesman won't comment on how much or how long Mueller has been preparing, but would confirm that Wilmer Hale -- a Washington, DC law firm -- has allowed Mueller and "a small group of folks who worked with him at the special counsel's office" to use some unoccupied office space for the purposes of preparation.

I still say he’s not showing up. Otherwise Andrew Weismann has to put his final touch on anything that comes out of Mueller’s mouth.
He doesn’t even have a right to testify without the White House approving it. This is pure executive privilege territory. Mueller only was a mere subordinate of the AG.

Well, the first draft probably didn’t come out too well with the Focus Groups so Nadless needed an extra week for the rewrite.
I think Nadless had the Stomach Surgery so he wouldn’t be as big a Target if he finally succeeds with the Coup.

Wilmer Hale has close ties to people who were in the Obama administration. I bet "office space" wasn't the main reason why Mueller was there.

Well, here’s hoping the Republicans on the Committee are ready to eviscerate Mulehead should he imply that POTUS Trump did anything the Rats have accused him of.

I know that this is pure fantasy land, but wouldn’t it just be great if Mueller came out and laid down some ground rules and started by saying “I am not a narrator, and I will not take requests to read passages from my report. If you have a questions about specific statements, passages, or portions of my written report, please read them yourself and then pointedly and concisely inquire as to what specifically you would clarified.”
All these congress goofs want is a reading on national TV, and they want to make Mueller into their puppet show host
