Any credible journalist will discover he tried to pay his 1988 US House campaign manager (female) as a self employed contractor rather than an employee to avoid the payroll taxes. It was reported in the BURLINGTON FREE PRESS at the time.
Is there not just one reporter out there who can shed more light on this creep by relating this fact from 31 years ago to the current story?
