For the first time since the end of World War I, the president of the United States is not the leader of the free world. Nobody believed that until World War II ended. European colonialism was at its height in the 1920s, how historically illiterate.

Excellent point-no one in the early 1920’s saw Harding or Coolidge as leaders of the free world.
