Properly done, exsanguination is is very humane. Hammering/ bolting a cow etc supposedly renders it stunned/unconscious, then it is bled to death.
I routinely slaughter chickens with a extremely sharp knife. It is the rare bird that struggles after the stroke. Most simply lay still and are dead in a moment or three. I must be relaxed and unstressed when I slaughter. My knife is only used for this task.
Western/urban people have very narrow views regarding the how and why our meat comes from.

Soooo, was the butcher qualified to recite a slaughter prayer to their allah? Otherwise, if no prayer it’s not Halal, just another cruelty to animals case. BTW, I avoid any grocery package marked halal!
