Arizona Dem Kyrsten Sinema joins GOP in push for program that would quickly deport migrants...

FULL TITLE: Arizona Dem Kyrsten Sinema joins GOP in push for program that would quickly deport migrants without valid asylum claims

Freshman Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., was one of a number of Democrats to join Republican colleagues this week who called for the implementation of a pilot program that would work to quickly identify and deport migrants at the border who are judged not to have a valid asylum claim.

Sinema, along with Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and Doug Jones, D-Ala., joined Republicans in writing to President Trump urging the implementation of Operation Safe Return -- a Department of Homeland Security pilot program that that would focus on quickly identifying, processing and returning family units who do not have valid asylum claims in the U.S.

“Through this program, we expect that we can meet our commitments to humanitarian protections while ensuring proper efficiency, timeliness, order, and fairness in the credible fear screening process,” the letter said. “We also expect that Operation Safe Return will help us examine current process deficiencies, identify required increases in capacity, and understand the drivers of migration.”

The program would allow DHS to remove family units within 15 days who are determined not to meet the criteria of “credible fear” of returning home necessary for an asylum claim. Those who are initially deemed to meet the “credible fear” criteria can often have their asylum cases go on for years.

The pilot program would have Border Patrol conduct interviews with migrants within three days of them being encountered between ports of entry, and have them processed and given a medical exam within four days. The "credible fear" interview shold occur within nine days.

A Democrat yielding to the will of her constituents?

Is that legal?

Ah, finally we have some cracks in the wall. I am not holding my breath waiting for the Democratic Party as a whole to return to sanity, but I will take what I can get. That said, she is one very strange bird.

This chick is weird, man.

Is she the first John McCain of the Democrat Party?

Sinema has been a surprise to me. She’s been on board voting with the GOP more than once.

Given she was a bisexual in code pinko and made several disparaging remarks about her own constituents, Sinema has surprised me with how reasonable she’s been in the Senate. She is not a rubber stamp for Chuck Schumer. Her election was not the disaster I thought it was at the time.

Wouldn’t be necessary if The List of Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement is enacted.

The list goes like this -

1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population);
7) Set up an illegal aliens’ victim restitution fund.

Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport.

Also consider reciprocation of the laws of the countries of origin of the illegal aliens. For example, Mexico doesn’t allow land ownership or voting to immigrants, and doesn’t honor birthright citizenship like its citizens expect from the U.S. We should offer the same deal to them.

It could be that she is hedging her bets after having “won” through election fraud in a very close race. Fraud is not possible when the margin of victory is large; if people perceive that she votes too reliably against their interests, the turnout against her may be too large to overcome through traditional fraud tactics.

A lot of people here thought she was a radical leftist during the campaign. She’s actually a pretty bright moderate Dem, a sort there should be more of.

Only important to those who can’t count to 60. This was a free vote for these Dems. None of them would ever be the 60th vote on a bill looking anything like this one.

Jeez.

When a Democrat is better than a RINO, it is time to inform Hartsfield Airport in Atlanta to prepare for many pig landings.
