What in the living hell do the blacks (Schvartzes as Cohen would put it) in Memphis see in this oily prick?
Cohen has the power of incumbency and lots of $$. He has been in office almost continually since 1977 when he was 27. He just turned 70.
Believe it or not, the Black Democrat political leaders in Memphis are weak and the State Senators are all new. They can’t seem to unify behind a single challenger, which has been a key problem since Cohen took the “Ford Family” seat in 2006 after they had held it for 32 years. He’s not had any problems in the primary since that first election. He got 91%(!) in the primary last year (2018).
