Washington Post: Democrats should confront their revolutionaries before its too late
____________________________________________________
Did the author of this piece watch any of the Democrat debate? They are all just as kooky as AOC. No one in that whole party deserves to sit at the national level of politics. They don’t even believe in having a border (one of the basic components of a sovereign nation-state.
Because this time socialism/fascism will work.
SMH
The definition of insanity...doing the same stupid thing over and over and hoping for a different outcome.
Do they not notice that VERY FEW people escape TO socialist/fascist/communist governments??
Well, bring it on rats.
Suicide is painless.
Or so I heard in a song.
It is too late. For the Democrats. But not to worry. They’ll be out of power for the next few decades.
“Two healthy parties would be so much better for our nation so long as both were loyal to the constitution.”
Not to contradict you but is that even possible? If both parties were loyal to the constitution would there be any difference between them? We have long had two parties, neither of which paid much attention to the constitution except to distort what it actually says but I honestly don’t see how we could have two parties, both loyal to the constitution, without them being hard to tell apart. Opinions differ as to meanings but to my hard seventy five year old head it seems that all I have ever seen is two parties promising to violate the constitution in different ways in order to win election and then swearing on the bible to uphold the constitution once elected. What is going on with the “squad” now is no more than I have expected to see for the past sixty years or so. It seems almost as if I am living in the pages of Atlas Shrugged which I read at age nineteen on a Naval communications station in Keflavik, Iceland. Donald Trump could be Hank Rearden and all the villains are easily identifiable in the democrat party except for the ones who are in the GOP.
I am referring to the Jefferson - Hamilton difference in viewing role of government. My best recollection of the difference between Repubs and Dems as a youngster was small government vs big government, Federal govt vs states rights, big defense vs more social programs, lower tax vs higher tax for strong economy, etc. But the number of anti-americans was small and both parties supported US policy beyond our shores. One could argue about the way we went about things, but we were all American. Today we have openly anti-americans in at least one major party. Not healthy. That's what I meant.
I understand but I don’t really believe that both parties were ever really loyal to the constitution, in fact I’m not sure that either ever was truly loyal to it. That is of course, just my opinion, I’m not an expert by any stretch but it does say that powers not granted to the federal government are reserved to the states or to the people. It seems that current thinking is the opposite, all powers not forbidden to the federal government are assumed to be granted. Most people I have known who claimed to be ultra-conservative are willing to go along with a federal government much more far reaching than I consider to be in line with the constitution.
>> Donald Trump is the man who removed the mask off the Democrat Party.
In addition to the traitors on the Right.
